Jennifer Tessness, Mental Health Practitioner received her Bachelor’s Degree from Crown College in 2014 and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University. She enjoys working collaboratively and integrating healthy empowerment to promote wellness, positive relationships and healthy living within a holistic and strengths-based framework. She prefers working with adolescent and adult clients by understanding and creating strategies that work to best support client’s individual needs. Some areas of interest include: anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues and substance use. An area of special interest is working with clients who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder. She is working toward a dual LPCC and LADC license. She is also certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
