Jennifer Finstad, MSW, LGSW received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2009 and is currently pursuing her clinical license. She considers herself a lifespan clinician, having worked in schools with young students, complex families in adoption and foster care placement situations, and family caregivers of older adults and those individuals impacted by Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease.  Jennifer is a trained Dementia Capable Caregiver Coach and Family Memory Care consultant, and is a Master Trainer for Powerful Tools for Caregivers. Areas of special interest include depression, anxiety, relational issues, grief and loss, family transitions, multicultural concerns, family caregiver issues and stress, aging, and end of life issues.
