Kayla Schaap, MSW, LICSW earned her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2010. She enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds with particular interest in maternal mental health, infertility and infant loss, and coping with changing life circumstances. Other areas of expertise include parenting issues, adoption, working with families involved in the child protection system, grief & loss, anxiety, depression and domestic violence. Her therapeutic approach is solution-focused; she also draws on a systems perspective with an emphasis on building strengths within each person. She is passionate about helping people navigate difficult life circumstances in order to reach their full potential and experience rich relationships.
