Sara Smith, MA, LMFT, earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary in 2013. She enjoys working with people in all seasons of life and works with individuals, couples, and families using a systemic perspective. Her areas of experience and special interest include marriage/family conflict and relationship difficulties, adolescent behavioral problems and related parenting concerns, trauma, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and spirituality. She has worked in both in-home and outpatient settings. Sara has training in Systemic Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and PREPARE/ENRICH couples inventory.


Speciality: marriage/family conflict and relationship difficulties, adolescent behavioral problems and related parenting concerns, trauma, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and spirituality.
