Makenna Nosbusch, MA, LPCC earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2017. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 2019. Makenna enjoys working with adolescents and adults treating a variety of clinical concerns. Makenna is very passionate about working with people who have experienced trauma. She has a special area of interest in working with couples regarding communication, conflict resolution, improving emotional connection, and other concerns. Makenna is also passionate about working with the entire family system to address issues and improve family relationships. Makena believes that the therapeutic alliance is the foundation for change, and so she strives to join with her clients through empathy and a non-judgmental presence. She also works to incorporate client strengths into the treatment process whenever possible.
