Rachel Shoemaker, MA, LMFT, LADC obtained a bachelor’s in Alcohol and Drug Counseling along with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy. These focuses were studied to address the lack of systematic and holistic approach to mental health and addiction issues, not only addressing the individual but also the family system as a whole. Strives to provide complete, non-judgmental care for all individuals of any gender, orientation, religion, and ethnicity. Rachel is a licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor and also trained in DBT and EMDR therapy.

Though our physical locations are closed, Life Development Resources (LDR) provides Telehealth (online-like Facetime or Skype) services. Therefore, current clients of LDR can use such services so that there is no interruption of their care during a time of social distancing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. We also continue to accept new clients as long as we have availability.

As part of our commitment to the health and wellbeing to our staff, clients, and the larger community, our clinic continues to monitor local, state and federal agencies and are observing their recommendations.
