Kimberly Shepherd

Kimberly Shepherd, MSW, LICSW, earned a Master of Social Work from the University of North Dakota. Kim enjoys working with young children and their caregivers, adults, and families in home, clinic, and school settings. Kim establishes strong relationships in a way that promotes healing from the past, restores current functioning, and builds hope for the future. Her areas of expertise include treating depression, anxiety, adjustment, trauma, and SPMI. She has a special interest in parent education and has extensive experience working with teen parents, single parent households, and families in crisis. Kim is happy to include spirituality in therapy. Kim is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch up (ABC), Trauma-Competent Care, Systemic Family Therapy (SFT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
