Dr. Samantha Colombo is a Licensed Psychologist and has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Walden University. She enjoys working with adults and has a special interest in working with those with a history of trauma and childhood adversity. She has a passion for working with survivors of sexual abuse. She can also conduct psychological testing to help provide treatment recommendations for diagnoses relating to mood, depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and dissociative disorders. She has training to utilize EMDR and neurofeedback for therapy, and is happy to integrate faith into therapy for those who desire it.
Outside of her clinical work, Samantha completed her dissertation research on Factors that Predict Immune Function Resilience of Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. She also has taught undergrad courses of Physiological Psychology, Interpersonal Psychology, Measurements and Assessments, Marriage and Family Dynamics, and Social Psychology as adjunct faculty at a university.
