A licensed psychotherapist provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and emotional/behavioral issues through individual, couple, family and/or group therapy.
Part time and full time employee or independent contractor positions available.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Conduct and write diagnostic assessments
- Design and implement treatment plans
- Document progress notes and other required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow policy and procedures of LDR
- Work cooperatively with support staff and billing staff
- Explore the role of self in therapy and work on improving aspects of self that interfere/contribute to the effectiveness of establishing a therapeutic relationship and assisting a client in meeting therapeutic goals
- Attend training seminars necessary to do the assigned position
- Provide other functions as required or assigned for effective operations of the clinic
- Maintain clinical records in compliance with Life Development Resources policies and procedures, insurance carriers, Minnesota and Federal law and relevant ethical boards’ policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain at all times the confidentiality of clients’ protected health information
- Monitor and complete all required activities required by respective licensing board to keep relevant professional license active and current
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant research
Qualifications:
- Is a Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D., Psy.D. or M.A.), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Minnesota
- Experienced in individual psychotherapy (experienced in psychotherapy groups, such as DBT, preferred)
- Experienced in conducting intake/diagnostic assessment and treatment planning process
- Experienced in timely and accurate documentation
- Experienced in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, chemical dependency preferred
