Allie Drube

Allie enjoys working both individuals and families to help them work through life’s challenges and learn to live life to the fullest. Her goal is to empower clients to live life in line with their goals and values. She uses various approaches to meet each client’s individual needs and gravitates towards a person-centered approach. Allie uses primarily Play Therapy techniques when working with children and uses the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help all clients understand how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors work together to shape how they view themselves and the world. She strives to create a strong therapeutic relationship and a judgment free zone where clients feel safe and comfortable. Her ultimate goal is to empower and guide individuals to overcome challenges in their lives and reach their potential.

Allie has over 5 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and individuals with an ASD diagnosis. She is passionate about making mental health treatment available to this population. Allie enjoys working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families to provide support, skills, and a safe space to process challenges.

Education:  BA in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, MA in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
