Cassandra Votaw

Cassandra Votaw, MA is currently pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Walden University, with plans to graduate in the summer of 2026. She has a passion for supporting clients in navigating life’s challenges, whether it’s managing, healing, strengthening, or building. She understands that growth isn’t always linear and believes in meeting clients where they are at.

She is interested in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She will also work in the School-Linked Behavioral Health (SLBH) and Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) programs.

She has a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is in the process of training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Her approach is compassionate, direct, and sprinkled with humor because therapy doesn’t have to be all serious, all the time. Above all, she strives to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to create change in their lives (and maybe even laugh a little along the way!)
