Connie Backstrom

Connie Backstrom, MHP, is currently working towards a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN.  She is expected to graduate in 2020.  Her areas of interest include, helping families, children, adolescents, and adults of all ages navigate through the challenges of grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. Connie has spoken nationally to various audiences on the impact the death of a child has on the family system.

Education:Bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Northwestern, St Paul in May 2015.  Currently a graduate student in the Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s program at Bethel Seminary, St. Paul, MN

Though our physical locations are closed, Life Development Resources (LDR) provides Telehealth (online-like Facetime or Skype) services. Therefore, current clients of LDR can use such services so that there is no interruption of their care during a time of social distancing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. We also continue to accept new clients as long as we have availability.

As part of our commitment to the health and wellbeing to our staff, clients, and the larger community, our clinic continues to monitor local, state and federal agencies and are observing their recommendations.
