Courtney Toavs

Courtney Toavs, MSW, LICSW (she/her/hers)
I am a licensed clinical therapist who enjoys working with a variety of individuals, couples, and families as they walk through their life’s adventures. I believe in a strengths-based approach that focuses on each person’s individual experiences and struggles as we work towards building the life someone desires. With my experience in the clinical field, I have had the privilege of working alongside men, women, adolescents, couples, and families as they experience life transitions, trauma, and grief. I have worked in multiple outpatient settings where I have mainly focused my practice on trauma processing and building skills into someone’s life that help regulate emotions and experience positive relationships.

I am passionate about helping individuals through the hardest parts of their lives and empowering them to continue striving for their goals. As a LICSW, I work with a diverse range of clients regarding trauma, coping skills, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, personality disorders, parenting, women’s health, perinatal transitions, and communication problems.
