Halina Gill

Halina Gill, BSW, LSW, Clinical Trainee is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work and her LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification at Augsburg University. With a background as a high school social worker, Halina brings experience in supporting adolescents, families, and adults in both individual and group settings. She believes in empowering her clients to find the courage, power, and motivation within themselves to navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful change.

Drawing from her own experiences of overcoming adversity, Halina understands how difficult life can be and strives to create a supportive, non-judgmental space for healing and growth. She is passionate about promoting holistic wellness—encompassing mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health—within the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community and beyond.


Special Interest: Depression, anxiety, autism spectrum, special needs, children’s and adolescents’ emotional and behavioral issues, life transitions, spiritual development, family systems, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).

Education: Bachelor’s in social work from Winona State University; currently pursuing a master’s in social work and LADC at Augsburg University.
